AWARDS
At Artist Awards, our goal is to provide more recognition and meaningful awards to dancers and studios! Every dancer and studio, regardless of size or skill level, deserves to be celebrated and recognized for their hard work, dedication, and artistry.
SOLO DUO TRIO AWARDS
The Solo, Duo, and Trio event day will consist of sessions organized by age division and performance level. Each session concludes with a complete, onstage award presentation, giving every dancer the recognition and celebration they deserve.
Each session’s awards presentation will include the following:
Placement Awards

Each participant receives a custom award and medal.

High-scoring routines with a score of 288+ receive a tiara or ring.
Ovation Awards
-
Judge selected awards recognizing standout performances.
-
Ovation Champions receive scholarships and Ambassador Honors for future events.
Duo & Trio Champion

The highest scoring Duo or Trio routine, each participant will receive a title, crown, trophy, blanket, and a partially paid entry-fee bid to the Grand Finale on May 7.

Top-scoring routines will receive quality runner-up awards.
Solo Title Champion
-
The highest scoring Solo routine in each Age Division and Performance Level, will receive a title, tiara, trophy, and a partially paid entry-fee bid to the Grand Finale on May 7.

Top-scoring routines will receive quality runner-up awards.
Solo Grand Champion
-
The highest-scoring Solo routine of each session will receive a title, crown, large trophy, blanket, and a fully paid entry-fee bid to the Grand Finale.
Grand Finale Bids
High-scoring routines may receive a full or partial paid entry-fee bid to the Take the Stage Showcase at the Grand Finale, where dancers will compete for the title of Artist of the Year.
Placements & Adjudication
Placements
Routines will receive a placement of 1st–4th place. If a routine is the only entry in its category, it will receive a ranking instead.
Rankings are determined by the routine’s total score and announced by medal level: Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc.

TEAM AWARDS
The team event day will consist of two sessions organized by age division and performance level, with consideration given to studio size to create a more balanced competition. Each session will conclude with a full awards presentation featuring the following:
Placement Awards

Each participant receives an award medal and gift.

The first-place routine in each category receives a Team Award.
Team & Studio Ovation Awards

Judge awards for standout team routines and overall studio performances.
Team Division Champions

Trophies and title banners are awarded for the highest-scoring routines in each division: Performance Level, Age, Genre, and Production.

Top-scoring routines will receive quality runner-up awards.
Team Champions

Each participant of the overall highest-scoring team routine receives a Team Champion Medal, a gift from one of our top brand partners, and a Grand Finale Bid, as detailed below.
Studio Grand Champions

A trophy, title banner, and *Grand Finale Bid are awarded to the two Studio Grand Champions.

Breakthrough - Small and/or rural studio
-
Cutting Edge - Medium to large studio
Award titles are balanced based on studio size, number of routines, and number of registered dancers.
Grand Finale Bids
Full and partial paid entry-fee bids to the Grand Finale on May 8, will be awarded at Emerge Tour events.

Team Champion routines from each event receive a fully paid entry-fee bid to the Take the Stage showcase at the Grand Finale, where teams will compete to be named Team of the Year Champions.

Studio Grand Champions from each event receive a partial paid entry-fee bid to the Grand Finale, where studios will compete to be named Studio of the Year Champions.
Studio Award
At the conclusion of the event day, every studio receives a custom, personalized trophy to commemorate their experience at Artist Awards.

Team award ceremonies are held in both the afternoon and evening to minimize wait times and provide greater convenience for dancers and their families.
GRAND FINALE AWARDS
The May 7–8 competition event days will follow the same schedules and award ceremonies outlined in the other award sections.
On May 8, the evening culminates with the Grand Finale Awards, where contenders from throughout the event will be recognized with gifts and top awards, along with the opportunity to compete in the Take the Stage Showcase. The showcase will feature high-level performances from top dancers and teams competing for cash prizes and Artist of the Year titles.
Artist of the Year Awards

Duo or Trio Artists of the Year: Each participant receives a title award, cash prize, and a gift from one of our top brand partners.

Solo Artist of the Year: The winner receives a title award, cash prize, and a gift from one of our top brand partners.

Team Artists of the Year: Each participant receives a title award and a gift from one of our top brand partners, plus a cash prize awarded to the studio.

Studio Artist of the Year: The studio receives a title award, a gift from one of our top brand partners, and a cash prize.

Artist of the Year runners-up will also receive special recognition and awards.

All Take the Stage Showcase participants receive an award medal.
